I hesitate to call this graffiti, because it's really just somebody's doodles on the wall, but the last few pictures convinced me. You'll see.
"T baby" left her mark on the bathroom windowsill, next to the toilet.
She was kind enough to leave a second scribble in pen beneath it.
The bathroom door sports a reassuring "OK", apparently done in some sort of paint.
See? Look at that beautiful texture.
This is hard to see, but someone drew some nice zigzags in pen on my bedroom door frame. It has already bled through one coat of paint.
...just like the green marker signature on the guest room door, flawlessly covered with one swipe of paint.
The guest room is also home to the infamous tribute to Jay, who, I believe, "was here." I could be wrong about that.
Now we're in the basement, where the glow-in-the-dark paint starts.
I have no idea what that means. I think it says "ASHMAN 173"
More glow-in-the-dark paint. There seem to be a lot of things marked "exit" that aren't actually exits.
You can't really see it, but there are painted arrows on the far wall. Also, who paints their basement storage rooms purple?
Apparently there was some concrete poured in '92.
And this is the real treasure trove. Somebody gave a self-conscience kid a marker, and this is what he left for us.
(Ladies, please don't lay anyone who can't spell musician.)
In case you weren't sure what this was, our friend labelled it. It's known as wall graffitti [sic].
And thus ends our tour of the notes people left behind.
Have you found any writing in your house? Would you ever leave writing in an obvious place?
Like cave art.
ReplyDeleteyes, especially in the basement. You might need to add a drawing next time you come over.
