Collections: outlets

Since this house has gone through many owners, many tenants, and many decades, it has ended up with an eclectic mix of fixtures and materials. These are small details that don't come through in other posts, so this is a chance for me to show you the "collections" in this house.

These are all the outlets in the house. It's quite an adventure trying to figure out where things can be plugged in in each room.







My favorites are the very first one with the vintage circle design and the one that's screwed onto a broken chunk of wood. 

Does your house have a mix of outlets in the baseboard and above the baseboard? Do you have as many different plate covers?

    My favorite is the one screwed onto the broken chunk of wood also! Haha. We have nasty yellow outlets all over the house that look like the bottom right but with a aged yellow plastic cover. I just replaced the living room and dining room one with grounded outlets.

    Also, we have 1960s Telephone Jacks that are circles with 4 little pin holes in each. The joys of an old house, I tell ya.
